Wiarton, ON – February 19, 2024 – In celebration of International Women’s Day, LakeHouse Bath+Kitchen is thrilled to announce a partnership with The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce for a personal care product collection drive. This event, running from February 21 to March 15, 2024, not only aims to gather essential personal care items for women, children and youth in need but also serves as a fitting tribute to the resilience and strength of women around the world.
Donors are encouraged to contribute items such as Tampons, Sanitary Pads, Body Wash, Deodorant, Toilet Paper, Hair Brushes, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Razors, Tissues, and Gift Cards. All donations must be new and unopened.
Drop off your contributions at LakeHouse Bath+Kitchen, located at 603 Berford St. in Wiarton, during the specified collection period. As a gesture of gratitude, each donated item qualifies the donor for an entry into a draw for a Home Spa Gift Basket. The excitement grows with each 25 items donated as LakeHouse adds another product to the basket, increasing the size of this luxurious prize.
Recognizing the significance of International Women’s Day, LakeHouse Bath+Kitchen acknowledges the crucial role played by organizations like The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce. Some women find themselves in the position of having to start over again with nothing. Your generous donation of new personal care products directly contributes to empowering women, contributing to the opportunity to pursue lives free from violence and abuse. As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, this collaboration with The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce serves as a reminder of the collective effort needed to create a more equitable and just society.
